While Movie Apocalypse is on a short hiatus I thought I would dig up some older videos of mine to share.
Shot on VHS at the end of winter 1991, Return To Nature was the first project I had ever directed. Based loosely on a scene from Miller’s Crossing, this was to be Latchkey Films first blood squib test for the camera. The film was conceived, shot and edited all in one day (I did the original edit between two VCRs with a cd player hooked to the audio inputs of the VCR.) The entire crew consisted of Ken Ferguson (the gunman) and myself (the victim). Here for the first time is a tighter edit of the film. There is no dialogue in the short, just music and sound effects. Enjoy.
