FINALLY, someone else who sees Hathaway as a great badass. My overall thoughts on the film: pretty damn good. Sure, there were some plotholes and some of the twists are predictable, but it was a damn sweet experience. Also, DAMN THEM FOR THAT SEQUEL BAITING THAT WILL NEVER BE FULFILLED!

I did not like this film very much. I saw all the of the twists miles before i was supposed to, with the exception of one. Which was I'll admit good. But everything else was just so obvious and boring. Bane was useless as a character who meant nothing to the story and was easily replaceable by almost any other character. The fact that they never once even mention the Joker was annoying to say the least. Anne Hathaway just seemed wasted. Her only purpose was to shoot a wall and walk Batman into traps. And my biggest problem is this wasn't Batman. This wasn't the unstoppably good person trying to make a difference to his city. This was a whiny loser who gives up constantly and refuses to get over things. Batman can't quit being Batman. He has tried. He knows it is a terrible burden that only he can actually carry. And that line "Then you have my permission to die!" Batman doesn't kill people! Batman doesn't let people die on his watch! And it all goes back to that first movie! "I'm not going to kill you but I don't have to save you." YES YOU DO! That is what Batman does. He save people! Villain and innocent alike. Batman Begins was awful. The Dark Knight was pretty good.(Ledger did no deserve an oscar.) The Dark Knight Rises was at it's best an ok movie.
