Sorry to say, but you came off as being REALLY bias and ignorant when reviewing this game. I would expect some of these comments to come from the mouth of a fanboy, but not you. "Sonic was never designed to work in 3D" NO SHIT! Almost NONE of the franchises that started out in 2D were designed for 3D, but many do work. And Sonic can and does work. Yeah, storylines have never been great in Sonic games, but at least the gameplay is varied, creative and works properly. The level design is far superior to some recent sonic games since it's not completely linear, and I actually like the missions since they add more to the game. Not to mention the fantastic balance between classic and Modern Sonic. So yeah. Terrible review because you seem to be bias to the point that Sonic can't work in 3D without ever really making clear why.

Even though you gave the game some good comments and a recommendation, I think most of your complain are really nitpicks like voice acting, extra characters, etc. Plus it NEVER took me 8 minutes to finish a level or crash into walls and enemies(except on a few occasions). It sounds like it's more your fault and not the game. Maybe I'm taking it a bit "personal" and I know you gave the game a fair chance but I think you(and some reviewers) keep holding a grudge on the past 3D Sonic games. I can understand the skepticism of a new Sonic game but I think every Sonic game should be judge individually. Plus, when you talk about Sega/Sonic past, Enigma, I understand keeping your viewers inform and I appreciate the effort but pretty much everybody already know this and seems more pointless than informative. At that point, you are not being informative, you are insulting the viewers' intelligence. Overall, not a bad review but I disagree in some areas. You're Welcome.

>:I... (my thoughts when hearing you tear this game a new one) "FUCK YOU TWO!" Seriously, Goddamn. Genesis sonic is not the only good sonic! Considering you didn't Acknowledge Sonic Adventure 2 (my favorite Sonic, and vastly superior to Adventure 1), it's not entirely fair to say it never worked. And the games are fun. Sonic Adventure, Adventure 2, Unleashed. All great games. Sure there have been blunders (Heroes i detest, everyone seems to hate Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic 06), but overall i think there's alot of potential in 3d sonic. And when I say i prefer 3d sonic, I OWN ALL THE 2D SONICS, so i know what i'm talking about. I think they are fine and dandy, but they aren't for me. Onto Generations... (whew). It's so much fun to play. Classic Sonic is an enjoyable nod to the past, but seeing Modern Sonic blast through all the old stages and new ones is a rush! The music is amazing (right now, FUCK YOU GUYS for hating City Escape and it's songs. I know it's your opinion, and I respect it to a degree, but that comment was like a kick in the kidneys to me), the gameplay is fun and addicting, and the game looks amazing graphically. The plot is something I have a problem with this game; the plot is really really weak, and compared to past games is embarrasing. Also, I don't like the new voice actors (the Colors/Generations cast suck). In addition, the missions were limiting, but at the same time, they were enjoyable (some of them). The level variety could've been better. I know people voted on it, but 4 city levels, 2 hills, and 2 factories is a bit samey. And i do wish there were more than 9 levels, but i understand why there weren't many. So yeah, in conclusion, we have vastly different thoughts on this game. But let's just respect each other's thoughts. oh yeah... AND FUCK YOU GUYS! ;)
