Why Otakus Throw Anime Like Gregory Horror Show Under The Bus?

I just thought of this here not too long ago! Super Sentai new rule:

Toei, can you please for the love of everything that is good and decent QUIT USING CELL PHONES AS THE HENSHIN DEVICES!?!? They were cool in Gaoranger, they lived out there usefulness and had some cool features in Dekaranger, but the MagiPhones in Magiranger is where it started to get ridiculous, they had 8 of those just for that Sentai alone for Godsakes!

And then they had the Acellulars from Boukenger as if it wasn't bad enough! And then we got the Henshin Cellular Go-Phones from Go-Onger! And unfortunately, all of those were used in the Power Rangers adaptations here in America which explains the hate of the cell phone morphers in the Power Rangers fanbase.

I know that Saban used the Aura Changer from Dairanger as a morpher for the Magna Defender so why can't we get those props back and use those as morphers? Even better yet, have Toei come up with new ideas for henshin devices or recycle some of the older henshin devices and use them as new henshin devices?

I know that cell phones are all the rage and are now a part of our everyday lives, but what the fuck is it with the obsession of cell phones in Super Sentai and re-using them for newer installments? At least we got 3 DIFFERENT henshin devices for Shinkenger, Goseiger and Gokaiger, thank fucking God almighty!!

I've got a pretty good topic suggestion for a future episode of the podcast!

The topic is: American tokusatsu (i.e. Power Rangers) and the effect that it has had on the Japanese tokusatsu like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai as well as going over the negative backlash or confusion over the Japanese tokusatsu because of the success that Haim Saban has had with Power Rangers.

Idea for a new topic: the mecha genre

new anime new rule:

when an anime company starts a dub of a anime on dvd, make sure you dub it completely and not just make the first half of the show dubbed and the rest sub-titled. (ex. GaoGaiGar)

new Toku new rule:

Don't ever, EVER end a show on a cliffhanger. And if you like make a movie to resolve it, make sure that the movie connects to the show's cliffhanger. Unlike a certain like kamen rider show involving a pink douche bag, I'm not saying who, but I think EZ and Shades can probably guess what it is.

Super Sentai new rule:

QUIT OVERUSING SHINKEN GOKAIOH!!!!

The Gokiagers have other grand powers that they can choose from like Dekaranger, Gekiranger, Goseiger, and Magiranger, but for some reason, the writers of the show just decide to use Shinken Gokaioh because the writers on the show just got totally lazy when it comes to that part of the script for whatever episode they were working on and couldn't come up with the idea of having the Gokaigers use a different grand power to finish off the Godzilla sized monster of the episode!

Writers working on Gokaiger, listen up because this is directed towards all of you!

Can you please add some variety here when using the grand powers for Gokaioh instead of just focusing on one and using the absolute crap out of it!? The only time that we get to see a new grand power is during an episode where the Gokaigers meet a previous team of Super Sentai and it NEVER gets used again after that episode which is absolute nonsense!

Bottom line: ADD SOME FUCKING VARIETY WHEN IT COMES TO THE GOKAIGER'S GRAND POWERS AND SHOWCASE THE ONES THAT THEY ALREADY HAVE MORE OFTEN THAN JUST PULLING THE SAME SHIT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN LIKE I PREVIOUSLY EXPLAINED! THIS IS JUST ABSOLUTELY UNTOLERABLE AND ISN'T MAKING GOKAIGER THAT MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE TO WATCH!!!!

That's what happened with the original Fullmetal Alchemist! They ended the anime on a cliffhanger which really pissed me off and made me not want to have anything to do with that show ever again until they redeemed themselves with the movie Conqueror of Shamballa and wrapped up everything!
